These training or exams are all required for certification with Senior and Disabilities Service.

The Care Coordinator Renewal exam contains questions that draw upon your experience as a currently certified Care Coordinator. This is a competency exam that must be completed prior to submitting your renewal application for SDS Care Coordination certification. The Exam assumes that you, the learner, have completed your own study plan and research in addition to reviewing the CC Guide or distributed materials and attending any Care Coordination training of your choice. As such, you must pass the exam in the 1st attempt. You should be prepared to verify your answers using the Alaska Administrative Codes, the current SDS Care Coordination Guide and/or your CC peers during the exam. You may also contact an SDS Training Specialist any time you have a question on the exam or if you need a accommodation to the exam.

Passing this exam with 80% or greater will result in a Certificate of CC Renewal Training completion. Your score and feedback on your responses will be immediately available after you complete the exam. 

For CCCORE Course fulfillment. Plan on at least an hour to complete the exam, if you close the exam your progress will not be saved!...You will need to begin again. 
You must score 80% or better to pass. Allow time for study before you take the exam. This is a competency exam for self paced or Academy series training, which assumes that you the learner have participated in your own study plan and research outside of Academy lecture or distributed materials alone. Do not take this exam more than once. If you do not pass the first time, you can try again the following month. We allow only 2 attempts.
Exams are scored once you have finished all questions and mark done to move on to the get your certificate.  Second attempts if needed will be given the following month after grading the first attempt.

Care Coordinators who registered for Full Lives 2023 may use the recordings and materials available on the UA Blackboard system to inform answers to these questions. When you complete the questions and forum activity, you will be able to download a certificate of completion good for Care Coordinator Renewal Training.  

The person to receive support is central in developing their support plan and choosing who is a part of their planning team. They are empowered to make choices and entitled to dignity throughout the process.

This course is for new administrators working in Personal Care Services agencies, providing Personal Care Services, and Community First Choice Services. 

It is also an introduction to operations and regulation requirements for new providers interested in opening an agency providing Personal Care Services and Community First Choice Services. 

Completing this training complies with the requirement for new administrators found in the Conditions of Participation: "An individual newly hired as program administrator for an existing personal care services program must attend the personal care services agency training course provided by the department not later than three months after the date of hire by the personal care services agency."



Skill Building, Supervision and Cueing are services available with Community First Choice Personal Care Services. 

This course is for certified and enrolled Personal Care Administrators and their designated staff trainers who are responsible for training Personal Care Assistants how to deliver Skill Building, Supervision and Cueing.
